For years, I dealt with facial hair, from my cheeks all the way to the bottom of my neck. I felt scared and embarrassed to be near people and didn’t want to let anyone touch my face, including my husband. I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa Lyons three years ago at a Health Expo and I immediately respected her honesty and candid nature. Being a woman of Middle-Eastern decent, laser hair removal intrigued me but at the same time I expressed concern due to my olive complexion. What a huge difference the skin tightening has made. I feel like I've had 10 years taken off my face. up, I didn’t ever have a skin problem. I could
use whatever I wanted on my face. I also never understood
why everyone with a skin problem would try all sorts
of crazy things on their skin in hopes to clear it up,
like scrubbing until it bleeds, using rubbing alcohol
and layering on make-up. Then all of a sudden a few years
ago (in my early 20’s), I had an extremely bad
breakout – a complete surprise.
At first I tried ‘a bit of this’ and ‘a bit of that’,
and was only mildly compliant – AND I KNEW BETTER. After several months
had past my results were minimal. Still unhappy with my skin, and confused of
why it was behaving like this started to try some crazy things… I even
burned my skin with glycolic acid. I finally understood what all these kids were

I have been
a customer of Laser It for hair removal since 2004 – I
have done most of my body. I have always been pleased
with my excellent results.
Shortly after turning 40 my
face started developing brown spots and large areas of
unsightly pigment. Over the years I have tried skin lighteners
and make up products to camouflage and hide these spots
to no avail. Since coming to Laser It and having IPL – photorejuvenation
there has been a total change to my skin. I had two complete
treatments and one spot touch up. I am ecstatic with
the results and totally recommend the procedure to anyone
with similar problems. Before starting my treatments
at Laser It I had a consultation and one treatment at
another physician based location. My treatment was disappointing
with no visible results. I was also told that I would

For years, I had problems with shaving because my beard was too thick, especially in the neck area. I had to shave twice if I wanted a close shave, so this process could take up to fifteen minutes. Sometimes, I would avoid shaving for days at a time to eliminate the hassle.
I tried every type of shaving gear: electric, straight, specialty and disposable razors of almost every kind. Nothing worked. I tried ice, pre-soaking with warm compresses, shaving cream for sensitive skin (which is expensive) and I would always have nicks, cuts, razor burns and bleeding no matter what I used on my skin. Ingrown hairs really became a problem and they were very painful and annoying to deal with. People would often comment about marks on my neck. Wearing a shirt and tie was always a problem and turtlenecks and scarves were too uncomfortable.
Laser hair removal has changed my life. Even after the first treatment, the problem was drastically reduced and now, after five treatments, the skin on my neck is smooth and clear and I have no skin breakouts at all. I feel comfortable wearing a shirt and tie or turtleneck and it’s so much easier getting ready in the morning.

Since my oldest child was born 18 years ago, stretch marks have been a big issue for me. For some reason, I seemed to get more than my share of the unsightly red and white jagged lines. Over time, I have spent thousands of dollars on every cream, lotion and “miracle serum” available, with no results.
Two years ago, I consulted with a cosmetic Doctor who recommended a surgical solution. Not wanting to undergo costly, invasive major surgery, I took her up on her second option, microdermabrasion. It was costly and I would require several treatments.
